Networking company NTT America has expanded deployment of MicroStrategy to help managers improve budget allocations and better utilize resources. Retailer Tesco Group, with 4,226 stores, will use MicroStrategy for head-office analytics and in-store dashboards.

Business Intelligence is getting very interesting. First Cognos introduced Express Edition, now MicroStrategy releasing Free Starter edition.
The Reporting Suite enables companies to develop and deploy Web-based reporting applications. Users can view data in tabular grid reports and graphs, drill down on data, make ad hoc queries and export data to Excel and PDF formats.
Free version does not include Dashboards, In-memory option, better insight and rapid development tools.
